Partnership
Partnership
We have established these guidelines based on previous experiences where misunderstandings and confusion led to complications and dissatisfaction. We aim to ensure that both parties enjoy a positive experience in collaborative breeding. By clearly outlining these terms, we strive to foster transparency and fairness for everyone involved. If you'd like to collaborate, please take a look at the following terms to understand our policies and your obligations.
We believe sharing a litter benefits both parties in several meaningful ways. More so than a simple financial transaction. Both breeders can enhance their herds' quality and diversity by choosing this approach. This arrangement encourages collaboration, as each party is invested in the success of the breeding and the quality of the offspring.
Having the stud provider choose the first pick ensures that both breeders have a stake in producing healthy, high-quality litter. This mutual investment fosters a sense of teamwork and shared goals as both parties work together to achieve the best possible outcome. Ultimately, this approach promotes the growth and improvement of both herds, creating a win-win situation for everyone involved.
We are passionate about our rabbits and committed to consistently producing high-quality animals. Unfortunately, many prioritize profit over breed standards and genuine partnerships in rabbit breeding. We ask our breeding partners to pay a "good faith" stud fee to protect our interests and maintain our high standards. While we wish trust could be freely given and always honored, experience has shown us that this isn't always true. This policy helps ensure that our values and dedication to the breed are respected and that we can continue to foster meaningful relationships with like-minded breeders.
We would gladly follow these same terms if breeding our does with another breeder’s bucks. However, if these terms do not align with your preferences, you might not be looking for a partnership. In that case, we’d happily sell you a breed-quality buck to add to your herd when we have one available.
Terms and Conditions:
◦ Stud Fee: The Client agrees to pay a "good-faith" stud fee of $100. This fee is due at the time of breeding.
◦ Rabbit Haus agrees to provide breeding services using one of our proven bucks.
◦ The Client's Does must be pedigreed, healthy, free from contagious diseases, and in good condition for breeding. Upon the Rabbit Haus's request, a recent veterinary health certificate may be required.

◦ The Client will provide regular updates and photos of any litter sired by our bucks.
First Pick of Litter:
In exchange for the stud services, the Rabbit Haus is entitled to the first pick of any litter sired by our bucks. The selection of the first pick will occur when the litter reaches 8 weeks of age, and Rabbit Haus will make the selection at their discretion.

◦ If the litter is not successfully sired, the stud fee will not be refunded: a repeat breeding will be allowed 14 - 20 days after the initial breeding.

◦ Rabbit Haus makes no guarantees as to the size, health, color, or gender of the litter.
◦ Rabbit Haus guarantees the Stud Rabbit is healthy and free from contagious diseases during breeding.
