Sales Policy
By purchasing a rabbit from us you agree to our sales policy, even if you don't read it.
Upon purchasing a rabbit from Rabbit Haus, all of the following will be agreed upon. This policy is in place to protect all parties involved especially the rabbit(s).
We love and care for all our rabbits, as a result, We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone at any time for any reason.
If for any reason your circumstances change and you cannot keep a rabbit purchased from Rabbit Haus, the rabbit will be returned to us and we will take responsibility for finding the rabbit a new home. No refund will be given. No questions asked - we understand things happen but we also do not lease out babies.
We are not a petting zoo or a pet store, We upload a lot of content and information about our rabbits both on this website and on Instagram. If after reviewing all of it you still feel the need to meet and greet our rabbits we charge a $25 nonrefundable fee for our time and effort. Any such visit will be scheduled at our convenience. If this does not work for you then we are not the breeder for you. Sorry.
We are not an auction house, we know what our rabbits are worth and we are not open to haggling or bartering. If you question our prices we will question your ability to properly care for a rabbit and refuse the sale. Our prices are subject to change without prior notice. Please do not come over and start asking about rabbits we haven't posted for sale, or ask to buy our breeding stock. Yes, it's happened. A lot.
All pedigrees are given digitally in a PDF via Email. However, we will only provide pedigrees if the rabbit is going to be shown or bred. We will not provide pedigrees for rabbits being sold as pets. We charge an additional $25 for pedigrees.
Payment
We do not hold rabbits without deposits, no exceptions.
For all rabbit reservations, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the sales price. The remaining balance will be due at pickup. Rabbits placed on hold can only be held for up to 7 days after their pickup date, after which you FORFEIT THE DEPOSIT unless another date was agreed upon before the deposit was sent (not after you missed your pickup appointment).
We take all forms of digital payments including credit cards directly.
Deposits are mandatory. NO EXCEPTIONS. Even if you intend to pick up the rabbit the same day. If you cannot leave a deposit we will not hold a rabbit. We know some people have trust issues leaving deposits, but we don't know what to tell you. We're a highly visible breeder on social media and registered with ARBA. If this does not work for you then we are not the breeder for you.
We do not give refunds, replacements, or exchanges.
If you have to back out of a sale for any reason, we will not offer you a refund.
Quality
All of our rabbits come from full-blood pedigreed lines.
We do our best to care for every one of our rabbits.
It is your responsibility to check over the rabbit at pickup. By purchasing a rabbit from us you are stating that you have inspected the rabbit and found it to be in good health.
We do breed VM lines and will always inform you of any known disqualifications if you intend to show the rabbit.
Guarantees:
All of our rabbits are guaranteed to be healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale.
If anything happens to a reserved rabbit before you pick it up we will offer you a suitable replacement.
We cannot guarantee a rabbit's health once it has left our care. We are not responsible for any injury, illness, or death of a rabbit after it has left our care. Rabbits can be unpredictable, and we are not responsible for how you choose to transport, handle, and care for your rabbit. We do advise that you contact us for advice with any questions, concerns, or drastic changes in behavior.
We do guarantee the sex of our rabbits, but in the unlikely event that we are mistaken we will offer you an exchange.
We are not responsible for any veterinary fees incurred at any point during your rabbit's life.
